ServiceNow is strengthening its AI-powered agent platform with new enhancements and acquisitions, aiming to extend automation across more areas of enterprise operations. With its latest update, the company has introduced additional pre-built AI agents, expanded orchestration capabilities, and announced the acquisition of Moveworks to enhance enterprise search.

Strategic AI Expansion and Moveworks Acquisition

On Tuesday, ServiceNow revealed its acquisition of Moveworks, alongside the rollout of new AI-driven agent capabilities. The company also made its AI Agent Orchestrator platform generally available, further advancing its vision of AI-powered automation.

Amit Zavery, Chief Product Officer at ServiceNow, emphasized the company’s focus on AI infrastructure, noting, “There is a vast potential in this space, and our latest release significantly expands AI agent functionalities. We’re committed to further investment and innovation in this area.”

Expanding the Library of Pre-Built AI Agents

ServiceNow has been steadily expanding its library of AI agents, initially introduced in September. The latest additions include:

  • Security Operations (SecOps) Agent – Designed to streamline security processes, eliminate repetitive tasks, and enable teams to focus on addressing real threats efficiently.
  • Autonomous Change Management Agents – These agents generate customized implementation plans and conduct automated testing to optimize IT workflows.
  • Network Test and Repair Agent – Proactively troubleshoots, detects, and resolves network issues before they impact performance.

Zavery highlighted that these AI agents are unlocking new enterprise use cases and driving greater efficiency. “We are witnessing an increasing number of organizations benefiting from AI automation in diverse ways,” he noted.

Enhancing Enterprise Search with AI-Powered Agents

The acquisition of Moveworks strengthens ServiceNow’s AI capabilities, particularly in enterprise search. By leveraging AI agents, employees can quickly access information about their organization, streamlining workflows and boosting productivity.

“Moveworks accelerates our AI-driven initiatives,” Zavery explained. “As a workflow leader with vast data capabilities, this acquisition enhances our ability to deliver cutting-edge AI solutions.”

Advanced AI Orchestration and User-Friendly Design

ServiceNow has now made its AI Agent Orchestrator and AI Agent Studio available to all customers. These platforms enable businesses to create, deploy, and manage AI agents with ease.

Key enhancements include:

  • Analytics Dashboard – Offers detailed insights into AI agent performance, tracking task completion rates and efficiency.
  • Guided Configuration – Provides step-by-step instructions for designing and deploying AI agents using natural language inputs.

Dorit Zilbershot, VP of AI and Innovation at ServiceNow, emphasized the value of these new tools. “Organizations can now visualize agent performance and ensure AI-driven workflows align with business objectives,” she noted.

The Future of AI-Driven Workflows

ServiceNow has long championed the integration of AI agents into business operations. The company also supports the concept of “invisible agents”—AI-driven processes that function seamlessly behind the scenes, enhancing productivity without disrupting user experiences.

With its ongoing investments in AI, strategic acquisitions, and expanded automation capabilities, ServiceNow is positioning itself as a leader in the enterprise AI landscape. By making advanced AI tools more accessible, the company aims to empower businesses with intelligent automation, improving efficiency and innovation across industries.
