Aletiq, a French SaaS startup, has raised €6 million (around $6.5 million) to expand its product lifecycle management (PLM) software tailored for industrial manufacturers. The funding round was led by Point Nine, with participation from Entropy Industrial, AngelInvest, and several notable business angels.

The company is tackling a long-standing gap in the PLM market. While industries like aerospace and automotive rely heavily on major players such as Airbus and Boeing, a vast network of small and mid-sized suppliers forms the backbone of production. These suppliers often lack access to sophisticated tools to manage their product data and workflows efficiently.

Most large manufacturers depend on complex systems developed by Autodesk, Dassault Systèmes, PTC, or Siemens. These platforms were designed for large enterprises with massive design teams and intricate requirements. However, they often prove too complicated, costly, and slow to implement for mid-sized manufacturers trying to keep pace with industry demands.

Aletiq offers a modern solution. Its cloud-based PLM platform helps companies streamline operations without the heavy burden of traditional systems. Unlike on-premise software, Aletiq’s SaaS model is easy to use and quick to deploy. According to CEO Geoffrey Ricard, customers can start seeing measurable results within a single quarter, driving faster adoption.

The platform serves as a centralized hub where teams can manage product data, CAD files, technical specifications, and quality standards. It seamlessly integrates with existing ERP and CAD tools, ensuring that data flows smoothly between systems and departments.

Beyond internal efficiency, Aletiq improves supply chain collaboration and visibility. Manufacturers can grant secure access to suppliers and partners, creating dedicated spaces where they can share data, collaborate on designs, and track quality requirements. This feature turns Aletiq into more than just a management tool—it becomes a digital bridge between teams and partners.

Since launching, Aletiq has gained over 5,000 users across 10 countries. Its growing client base includes mid-market industrial manufacturers as well as large players like Safran, Hutchinson, and Lisi Group. The company plans to use the new funding to scale operations and reach more manufacturers facing similar PLM challenges.

The latest investment round attracted seasoned investors and tech veterans. Among them are Carsten Thoma of Celonis, Emmanuel Martin Chave of BlaBlaCar, Markus Ament of Taulia, and Stéphane Albernhe from Archery Strategy Consulting. Their involvement signals confidence in Aletiq’s ability to disrupt a market historically dominated by a few large providers.

By offering an intuitive and scalable PLM solution, Aletiq is making complex product development cycles more manageable and efficient for industrial players. Its SaaS platform empowers manufacturers to streamline workflows, collaborate better, and maintain full control over product data—without the traditional headaches.
